A new story over an old tattoo

A cover-up blends an unwanted tattoo into a new design without removing it. Not every tattoo can be covered, so we look at it together first.

How we assess it

  1. You attach a photo of the old tattoo to the request form.
  2. We set the smallest possible size of the new design by darkness, size and line density.
  3. At the consultation we show the new design layered over the old one.
  4. If needed, the first session prepares the base and later sessions complete it.

Laser removal is a medical service; it is not offered in our studio.

Which styles work?

Blackwork, dense botanical compositions and textured dotwork are the most flexible. Very fine line rarely works as a cover.
